Powered by the Dual-Core Intel Celeron N6211, or Quad-Core Intel Pentium J6426 processors, which have been specifically engineered for IoT applications, Helix 310 offers a unique combination of features, power and connectivity, making it an ideal Industrial IoT gateway, edge device or embedded controller.
SLIM PROFILE, WIDE APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
At less than 1.5" tall, the Helix 310 can be installed in almost any industrial application, with support for DIN, and wall mounting. Sensitive internal components are mechanically protected from dust, debris, chemicals, and moisture with OnLogic's integrated Hardshell™ technology. Meanwhile, the absence of any moving parts dramatically improves the lifespan and reliability of the system. Its advanced industrial design includes a filtered DC input power supply with a 12~24 V range. All of the I/O has been immunity tested to both the EN 55035 for IT equipment and to 60601-1 4th edition Medical immunity - including the 15kV ESD & 10V/m RF immunity tests. Medical immunity protects the computer at a level almost 2x and in some cases up to 30x more than the CE computer standard required limits. The HX310 is currently being safety listed under UL/IEC 62368-1. When used as communication equipment, this unique computer will integrate seamlessly into UL 61010 (former UL 508) applications.
INCREDIBLE STANDARD CONNECTIVITY WITH ROOM TO GROW
Connectivity is key for any IoT project, which is why the Helix 310 features a well-equipped I/O coastline and available ModBay expansion to further customize your interface options. Standard I/O includes 3 USB 3.2 & 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 DB9 (RS-232/422/485) optionally configurable as CAN (COM can be configured on request), 3 DisplayPorts, 1 Gb LAN port (2 LAN available when equipped with a Pentium CPU) and SIM Slot for use with available 4G LTE connectivity. OnLogic's unique ModBay expansion options allow you to add DIO, CAN Bus or additional COM, LAN or wireless antennas. Whatever you need to connect with, or connect to, Helix 310 has you covered.
This system can be configured with an integrated cellular modem, pre-certified to operate on many of the world’s most popular cellular carrier networks. Our 4G capable hardware is ideal for today's mobile, edge computing and Industrial Internet of Things applications. The wireless connectivity has been tested to operate reliably in challenging Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) environments. Many of our systems also include co-location options allowing you to implement Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, in addition to cellular connectivity, at the same time. |Notes||This model uses the new Intel GPY115/EC1000S Ethernet controller provided by the Elkhart Lake platform. Currently no mainstream Linux distributions have driver support for the Ethernet ports. Linux is not supported on this model. Intel has not yet provided drivers to enable PXE booting (network booting). PXE is currently not supported.|
