Meet us at ICC 2023! The OnLogic team will be returning as sponsors of the Ignition Community Conference, hosted by our partners at Inductive Automation. You will find us set up in the lobby of the Main Floor, with a selection of our industrial computers for you to check out. Speak with our team of experts, experience our SCADA solutions for the edge, and explore how OnLogic and Ignition can help solve your complex technology challenges.
OnLogic is proud to have been one of more than 750 exhibitors that made up North America’s largest automation and robotics trade show in Detroit, Michigan. The 2023 Automate Show drew in over 25,000 people from around the world! We had a great time returning to the exhibition hall, meeting with partners, customers, and making new connections. We brought with us our newest industrial computing solutions – and a big splash of orange.
This year we were a sponsor of Red Hat’s largest customer-focused event, Red Hat Summit 2023. Our team exhibited in Boston, showcasing our highly configurable and reliable industrial computers designed for the far edge and certified for Red Hat.
For three days, OnLogic joined nearly 27,000 people in Nuremberg, Germany to dive into the world of embedded systems. The embedded world conference brought together a global community of like-minded people to discuss the technological challenges of complex embedded solutions.
We explore how Raspberry Pi has gone from the maker space to the IoT edge. OnLogic Communications Manager, Darek Fanton, spoke with OnLogic Product Manager, Mike Walsh, and Travis Cox, Chief Technology Evangelist at Inductive Automation, to help shed some light on why Raspberry Pi is now a viable option for industrial projects.
AI solutions are everywhere and in some unexpected places. For most industries, it is not a question of “if” they will leverage AI, but “when”. Watch our recorded event with OnLogic and Intel to learn how you can leverage hardware and software solutions to take your AI solution from virtual to reality.
OnLogic Live: Connecting The Dots Of Industrial IoT
Recorded on November 11, 2021
Watch our a live conversation with Arlen Nipper, Industrial IoT and SCADA pioneer, to learn how to connect your facility to the cloud quickly and easily.
Industrial automation is increasingly important in achieving modern production goals. Gaining visibility and control of your process in a cost effective manner drives efficiency and thereby the growth of your business.
An automation computer allows you to control systems to perform repeatable and adaptable tasks. Consider a CNC router machine that cuts materials into complex shapes. To begin, a complex pattern can be created on, or loaded onto, an automation computer. Then, utilizing an attached sensor, real time data about the speed and vibration of the router bit can be fed into an automation computer as it moves through the material.
Based on the balance between speed versus the risk of waste due to inaccurate cuts, you’re able to set the ideal working speed of the machine via your automation software of choice. The resulting configuration can then be used repeatedly for mass production while continuing to monitor the machine’s performance for signs of wear and tear.
Automate Almost Anywhere
Rugged automation computers from OnLogic provide dependable operation and are tested against MIL-STD-810 standards for shock and vibration. When combined with wide operating temperatures and flexible DC power inputs, your automation computer can be placed in a wide variety of environments.
If dust and debris are an issue in your facility, our available Hardshell fanless thermal management technology provides effective cooling while minimizing the ingress of foreign particulates into the computer. As an additional benefit of going fanless, the long term reliability of the system can be increased due to reducing the number of moving parts.
