Features & Capabilities
Withstand the Elements with a Solution from OnLogic
We’ve specially designed our embedded solutions to stand up to harsh conditions that a typical off-the-shelf computer could not endure (at least for long). Our small form factor systems are built to be embedded in a larger system. They deliver the performance, features and connectivity that make them ideally suited for the wide range of embedded computing tasks that OEMs, embedded engineers and system integrators like you need to create next generation solutions.
OnLogic develops fanless industrial embedded options that feature our Hardshell™ Fanless Technology to keep the systems cool without fans or vents in the chassis. This design removes the most vulnerable part of a typical off-the-shelf computer - the fan. It also keeps sensitive electronics protected from dust, dirt and even moisture. A technology solution is only as reliable as each of its individual components. Therefore, we design our hardware for long term dependability.
Need even more durability? No problem - OnLogic rugged computers for embedded solutions take environmental protection one step further. Specifically, our rugged line can take extreme temperatures all the way down to -40°C and up to 70°C. For example, they are ideal to power a surveillance solution at a remote desert oil rig where temperatures frequently fluctuate wildly in a single day. They also accept variable DC power input, and stand up to shock and vibration. That means you can install them wherever they're required.
Build your Embedded Solution with Confidence
We design our embedded systems for demanding applications that run 24x7 in extreme environments. Because of our high reliability, we can offer you peace of mind and help save you the stress (and costs) of downtime.
To support your requirements for receiving and transmitting data, OnLogic embedded computers come with a multitude of I/O options. This ensures easy connectivity with the other parts of your embedded system. Have legacy peripherals that need COM ports? We’ve got that, as well as USB-C, PoE, CAN bus, and more.
Power considerations and limitations are a huge factor when selecting a hardware solution for an embedded application. An embedded system from OnLogic is capable of operating with low-voltage power inputs that can take advantage of central power supplies. In addition, we offer options to handle variable power input, auto-on/off features and ignition sensing. We’ve thought of everything when it comes to powering an embedded PC. And, whether your application needs simple or high power processing, we’ve got you covered. Check out options from Intel® Celeron® all the way up to Xeon® scalable processing or AMD® Ryzen™ to EPYC™ options.
