The DS-1000 and DC-1100 will be the first Cincoze products available in the US.
November 5, 2014 (SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT) - Industrial and embedded computing company Logic Supply (www.onlogic.com) is excited to announce the arrival of Cincoze, a dynamic new IPC player, to North America. The introduction of the Cincoze DS-1000 and DC-1100 rugged PCs mark the emerging Taiwanese hardware manufacturer’s first foray into the American market.
Both systems have been engineered for use in harsh environments where dust, dirt, temperature, shock and vibration are a concern, and feature a completely fanless and ventless chassis design. Built with a wide range of applications in mind - including remote surveillance, data acquisition and rugged workstation use - the DS-1000 and DC-1100 boast exceptional connectivity and a host of expansion options.
“We’re excited to be able to introduce Cincoze to the American market,” says Logic Supply CEO Roland Groeneveld. “These Cincoze systems are a natural fit for our Rugged Line of products. The mix of industrial I/O and expandability offered by their hardware represents a perfect fit for many of our commercial clients. We’ve been impressed with the attention to detail and commitment to quality Cincoze has shown in the construction of these PCs, and their systems have performed exceptionally well in our testing.”
This initial product launch represents more than two years of design and development by Cincoze in creating systems specifically tailored to the needs of modern embedded applications.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Logic Supply to help bring Cincoze to the North American market,” said Brandon Chien, CEO of Cincoze (www.cincoze.com). “We began Cincoze to power innovation through quality, reliability, and attention to detail. Working with Logic Supply will allow us to expand our global presence with the confidence that our core values will be not only respected, but echoed in North America.”
The Cincoze DS-1000 features 4th generation Intel Haswell desktop processing and is available with CPUs ranging from economical but HD-capable Pentiums to high-performance Core i7s. Featuring the Intel Q87 chipset, the system offers support for advanced features including Intel vPro and virtualization technology, and can be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM. Enclosed in a rugged, fully fanless and ventless chassis, the DS-1000 is protected from dust and airborne particulates and designed to withstand operating temperature ranges of -10°C to 60°C. Varied connectivity is a key feature of the DS-1000. I/O options include 8 USB ports (including 4 USB 3.0), 6 RS-232/422/285 COM ports, 8-bit DIO, dual Display Ports, and DVI-I. A 2.5” hot-swap HDD bay, CFast and SIM card slots and an accessible CMOS battery are concealed behind a removable front plate.
The compact Cincoze DC-1100 is powered by the quad-core Intel Bay Trail E3845 processor and manages to balance high performance embedded computing with energy efficient operation. Drawing less than 20 watts of power the DC-1100 is enclosed in a durable, fanless and ventless chassis and engineered to resist damage from dust, dirt and vibration. Equipped with wide-temperature memory and solid state storage, the DC-1100 is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C and supports a wide power input range of 9~48 volts. Measuring only 185 x 131 x 54mm, the Cincoze DC-1100 still features a full complement of industrial I/O including 4 RS-232/422/485 COM ports, 4 USB ports (including 1 USB 3.0), dual Gb LAN, programmable 8-bit DIO, DVI-I, and a DisplayPort. Users can also leverage externally accessible CFast and SIM card slots as well as dual PCIe Mini Card slots for wireless connectivity or additional I/O.
Both Cincoze systems are currently available on the Logic Supply website at //www.onlogic.com/computers/rugged/cincoze/, with additional Cincoze models slated for release in the coming months, including a line of rugged, yet modular, Panel PCs.
