Our vision, graphics and AI accelerators such as GPUs and VPUs are protected from environmental hazards by our Hardshell™ Fanless Technology.
Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), often considered to be the backbone of deep learning, allow for much faster processing of large datasets. GPUs are frequently needed for machine vision, learning, and AI applications that require additional horsepower over and above the CPU. Since these AI accelerators can use a lot of power and can generate a lot of heat, our engineering team takes a thoughtful and innovative approach to the design of our computers for deep learning.
Vision Processing Units (VPUs) are co-processors, similar but different to a GPU. They reduce the load on the CPU by assigning tasks to an application-specific co-processor for object recognition and machine learning functions. VPUs use less heat and power than a GPU and easily integrate into smaller and more power efficient systems.

Deep Learning for Factory Automation

Applications for manufacturing automation often leverage our systems with VPUs or GPUs to run machine vision or learning frameworks closer to the edge.
