Powered by Intel Core Ultra processing, the SIEMENS-K521 brings dedicated AI acceleration directly to your OT environment. With Siemens Industrial Edge Runtime pre-installed, you can connect directly to the Siemens Industrial Edge Management system to deploy, run, and scale applications across single assets or global operations without writing custom deployment scripts. Support for up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory and 2x M.2 2280 NVMe storage slots ensures data pipelines run smoothly during heavy analytical workloads. Depending on the processor selected, available Intel vPro® technology enables remote out-of-band management and KVM access.
Engineered for demanding industrial environments
Standard commercial computing hardware fails when subjected to the dust, vibration, and temperature swings of an industrial plant. Standing only 50.8 mm tall, the fanless SIEMENS-K521 fits easily into crowded control cabinets or directly onto mobile equipment. A wide -40 to 70°C operating temperature range, 12 to 48 V DC automotive power input with programmable ignition timing, and testing to MIL-STD-810H standards keep your edge applications running where active-cooled systems cannot survive. Mounting options include DIN rail, wall, VESA, and rack mount kits, letting you place edge intelligence directly adjacent to legacy OT machinery or inside autonomous vehicles.
Versatile connectivity to bridge OT and IT
Extracting usable data from the factory floor means connecting modern applications to legacy automation assets. The SIEMENS-K521 features 4x 2.5 GbE LAN ports for network segmentation and upstream data delivery, along with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and 6x USB 3.2 ports for high-bandwidth sensor and peripheral integration. Industrial connectivity options include 4x COM, CAN bus, DIO, and dual DisplayPorts. By pairing physical OT interfaces with native Siemens software connectivity, the SIEMENS-K521 helps bridge fieldbus networks, PLCs, and cloud infrastructure reliably.
