Engineered to survive tough industrial environments
Standard commercial computing hardware fails when subjected to the dust, shock, and temperature swings of an industrial plant. Standing 50 mm tall, the fanless SIEMENS-K801 installs directly inside cramped control cabinets or on industrial equipment. A wide -40 to 70°C operating temperature range, 12 to 48 V DC input, and testing to MIL-STD-810 standards for shock and vibration keep your edge applications online where active-cooled systems cannot survive. Mounting options include wall, DIN rail, and vibration-isolating kits, letting you place edge intelligence directly adjacent to legacy OT machinery.
Bridge legacy machinery to cloud infrastructure
Extracting usable data from the factory floor means connecting modern applications to legacy automation assets. The SIEMENS-K801 features up to 6x 2.5 GbE LAN ports, two of which can deliver PoE+ power for industrial vision systems while providing Intel vPro support for out-of-band management. Built-in industrial I/O includes dual DisplayPorts, 2x COM, 6x USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, dual SIM slots, and an integrated 18-pin terminal for DIO, CAN bus, and external switch controls. By pairing physical OT interfaces with native Siemens software connectivity, the SIEMENS-K801 helps bridge air-gapped PLC networks, fieldbus protocols, and upstream IT networks reliably.
