JP Ishaq, Product Manager at Logic Supply
After a ten-day marathon at Computex Taipei, we have spent most of the week getting over jet lag and following up with business opportunities made in Taipei.
While at the trade show, we visited vendors and production facilities for the LGX brand and traversed miles of booths that spanned the World Trade Center and the Nangang Exhibition Center. We had some great success and are excited about the products Logic Supply will be offering for the upcoming year. Of course there were strong showings on the consumer side of things, with plenty of tablets, motherboards, graphics cards, and media players. But we managed to keep our minds on the game and look for what you, our industrial and embedded customers, need.
There have been some interesting changes in the industry; MSI, once a strong contender in the IPC market, had very little presence in our arena, while other vendors like Jetway have stepped up their game to offer a full-coverage product line with everything from low-power Atom boards to the latest and greatest in high-performance computing.
We’re looking to freshen up our Panel PC lineup with some new Cedarview Atom products, finally beginning to leave behind the N270-based platforms. Also, be on the lookout for more exciting products from our partners at Neousys, DFI, and many more.
Overall, we had a successful trip to Taipei and we’re looking forward to bringing in some exciting products in the coming months.
