From a Woman’s Perspective: Partnering with InHerSight
We’re always on the lookout for opportunities to partner with organizations who will help us add diverse voices to our team. Though we’ve had a profile on their website for many years, we’ve recently kicked off a more formalized partnership with InHerSight, an organization committed to helping ensure better workplaces for women.
Who is InHerSight?
InHerSight is a Durham, NC-based company that collects employee reviews and data to help women find companies that are a match for their needs and wants in a workplace. They have established several key metrics that have proven to be the most important to women looking to further their career. They use employee reviews on their platform to measure companies against these metrics. Metrics include flexible work hours, management opportunities for women, women in leadership positions, and family growth support, among others.
Who can use the platform?
Women (and allies) can review companies they work for to provide more data to help women identify a company that matches what they most value in both formal and soft policy offerings. Job seekers are able to indicate prioritized policies and factors in their member profile so that InHerSight’s system can immediately tell them how many of their factors match with the company they are considering.
Why OnLogic chose to partner with InHerSight
We’re hoping a presence on InHerSight will help inform a historically underrepresented group in the tech space – women. We want to grow our team with amazing people who will bring diverse experiences to our company and help us to continue on our growth path while also adding to our culture in a meaningful way. For their part, InHerSight, have expressed their excitement to work with another company that has a presence in the Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the US and home to OnLogic’s North Carolina office.
To kick off our partnership, InHerSight has invited us to nominate a Woman of Influence here at OnLogic.
