For the first official day of Computex 2014, OnLogic CEO Roland Groeneveld, lead Engineer Rodney Hill and EU Director of Technology Fred Buining were joined by the Director of OnLogic’s Taiwan office, Alice Liao. They received a very warm welcome from many of our manufacturing partners, including Jetway, ASRock, Morex, Transcend, and Mitac and were able to sit in on a number of product presentations.
The OnLogic contingent also spent time exploring a slew of new products, including upcoming releases from ASRock and Jetway.

What Stood Out on Day 1?
Day one was a blur of exciting new products and face-to-face time with many of our long-time manufacturing partners. One other aspect of Day 1 that stood out is the unique atmosphere at Computex, which features a wide range of both commercial and consumer products sharing the show floor. Fred pointed out, “The very clean embedded hardware presentations are set up right next to the sometimes overwhelming presence and extremely lively booths of the more consumer-targeted products.”
Come back tomorrow for more from Computex 2014 and let us know in the comments if you’d like us to try and get a look at anything in particular.
