Intel’s First Bay Trail NUC
Forest Canyon – Intel’s Bay trail NUC
While the Forest Canyon is not an industrial PC, we love the NUC form factor. In particular, we are excited about Bay Trail –Intel’s low power, high efficiency processor architecture– coming to the Next Unit of Computing (NUC). This little guy is the first Bay Trail NUC on the market, so we’ll show this little 4.5″ x 4.26″ beauty some love. Its perfect for light duty work as a media player, digital signage or even desktop replacement.

Take a Peek at the POC-200, the Rugged Bay Trail
The Fanless POC-200 – w/ Bay Trail
Powered by the new Bay Trail Quad Core, The POC-200 is a little computer packing a bigger punch than its predecessor (the POC-100) in the same tiny package. At the size of about a few smartphones stacked on top of each other (5.9″ x 2.28″ x 4.13″), it’s designed to fit in small locations like surveillance camera (CCTV) enclosures. It’s rugged fanless design makes it a brilliant choice for embedded networking in particulate-rich environments.
